What do Fixwell's Practice Sticks mean?

When we receive new, whole and/or broken hockey sticks, they are sorted and all sticks are carefully inspected. We only take care of top model sticks , i.e. hockey sticks for around €300 in retail stores.

  • We repair sticks that are broken/cracked but in good condition and post them on the website. You can check out the range of Refurbished Hockey Sticks here.
  • The sticks that are intact are examined extra carefully to ensure there are no hidden cracks or the like. If they are in good condition, they are posted on the website under Used Hockey Sticks.
  • You can find sticks that are whole and unused under Pro Stock Sticks.
  • Practice Sticks. These can be whole sticks that we have found a small crack in the shaft or blade. A "crunchy" blade that may give off a squeaky sound usually describes it quite well. It can also be a refurbished stick (repaired in the shaft or blade) that is not in as good condition. In that case, refurbished sticks with more scratch marks on them will also end up under the Practice Sticks collection.
  • These hockey sticks are still fully functional, but some may experience a different feeling depending on where the stick is defective.
  • Unfortunately, we do not provide any guarantees on these sticks because of this, but we do offer the sticks at a very reasonable price .

What can the Practice Sticks be used for?

In short; Everything! But the biggest uses include:

  • Like a normal ice hockey stick for training and matches.
  • As a practice stick on the ice if you want to practice shots without wearing out your regular hockey stick.
  • As a practice stick off the ice. Example; stick handling or practicing shots at home on the shooting ramp.
  • Field hockey.
  • Inline hockey.

As I said, for just about anything.
